Formula 1 fever hit the UAE on Monday as thousands of tickets for November's inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix sold out within hours of going on sale.
Two grandstands, seating about 20,000 fans, were sold out within hours after going on sale across the country at 10am.
Large queues were reported in malls in Dubai and Abu Dhabi as fans tried to snap up tickets, reported UAE daily The National on Tuesday.
